Helpdesk Portal Changes
Hello there!!
This announcement is to inform staff of changes made to the helpdesk portal.
- The default portal view was reverted to the "classic view". This gives users the option to submit an issue/request or to browse self-service articles without having to consult Terry (AI bot).
- The classic view has been updated to appear more modern.
See below for a glance of the new interface:
Login Screen:
The login button is located at the top of the page. Circled in green in the above screenshot.
Similar to before, you must be logged in to view self-service articles and submit tickets. This is necessary for security reasons, preventing random persons from having access to the portal. However, announcements such as this are visible to all.
Note: All members of staff have an account. If you forgot your password, click the "Forgot Password" link and you will receive an email with steps to reset. The username is your work email.
Home Screen:
Once logged in, the options to browse self-service articles and submit issues / requests will be visible. Your opened tickets will also be displayed below these options for easy access should you need to follow up on a ticket.
Other things to note:
Solution articles, your full ticket list and the service catalog can be accessed via the menu button. This button is located in the top left of the next to the Terra logo.
If you need to edit your profile, view the full list of announcements, change your helpdesk portal view (Ask Terry vs Classic View) or sign out, this can be done by clicking your avatar. This is located in the top right of the page next to the notifications icon.
