The Importance of Rebooting you Computer
When last have you shutdown or reboot your computer? And no, we don't mean closing the lid or putting it to sleep. Seriously, take a second to think about it and if you can't answer, it is time to reboot.
It is best practice to restart your computer at least once a week to avoid performance issues. Here are some of the benefits:
- Clears / resets system memory (RAM)
- Improves system performance
- Corrects software issues
- Resolves connectivity issues
- Allows updates to complete
Not sure how to reboot your system? Here's how:
Apple Computers
Select the Apple logo in the top left of the screen > select Restart
Windows Computers
Right click on the Windows logo in the bottom left of the screen > hover the mouse on Shut down or sign out and select Restart
