Different Interface & No Emails after Updating Outlook
Good morning team,
Note: This is for Mac users ONLY
If your Outlook app updates and you notice the interface looks completely different and your emails are gone, please do not panic but instead follow the steps below;
- In the menubar, select Outlook > Preferences
- In the Outlook Preferences window, select Accounts
- At the bottom of the opened window, select the plus sign (+) and click New Account
- Enter your email address and click Continue
- You will receive a screen prompting that Exchange Accounts aren’t supported. Here you’ll need to click Revert
- Outlook will quit and reopen and your emails will return.
PS: This is saved as an Announcement in the Helpdesk Portal. That said, if this happens for you at a later date, you can log in to the helpdesk portal via a browser and view it. Announcements are displayed at the top of the page.
